The cousins will finally meet

So we are finally able to go down to Charlotte to visit Jennifer and Macyn. Ari and Macyn will meet for the first time on November 7th and I cant wait to take tons of pics and blog about it. It will be so nice to see my sister as a Mom and to meet my little or not so little niece... :)

I am so excited! I almost want to start packing now but I know that is really not possible or very practical. The cool thing is Ari and Macyn have so much of the same things because Jen and I registered for the same thing (unplanned) so it will be much like being at home for him. Except with another baby there of course.

It's gonna be very interesting! Can't wait to tell you all about it....

Ari's umbilical cord finally fell off and dried up so Daddy and I gave Ari his first bath today. He loved it. We always knew he loved the water but he was so happy in the bath tub. I can't wait to give him more baths since he enjoyed it so much!

One week old

I can't believe our little boy is one week old today. We spent the morning at our 2nd doctor's appointment, what a way to spend a birthday... LOL. But the good news is the Doc gave little Ari an A+ for being such a good healthy boy!

Bonding with Daddy before he goes back to work...

Ari is spending every moment with Daddy before he goes back to work tomorrow. It has been so nice to have Harris here with us all day long and we are really going to miss him when he goes back to work tomorrow. I know little Ari will not be the same without his Daddy here with him during the day. He is so at peace when he is in his Daddy's arms. He feels safe and loved and you cannot ask for more. I, much like Ari will be counting down the minutes until Daddy comes home from work tomorrow.

After many days and nights trying to adjust to our new sleeping schedule both Daddy and Ari snuck in a nap while Mommy caught up on updating the baby blog...

First Doctor's Appointment and Nana Kim's visit

Nana Kim and Auntie Dori came for a short visit. They arrived early Monday morning around 2 am and left Monday night. It was brief but nothing short of wonderful. Ari was really at peace around his Grandma. She held him, fed him, and changed him the whole time she was here. Even after 4 girls, I think she missed it... She was great. Grandma even joined us for Ari's first Doctor's appointment on Monday, October 12, 2009. We left with a clean bill of health. Great job Ari!!

Here is a very cute photo of our baby Ari and his Daddy in the glider in the nursery. Kiki, our youngest dog is also in the picture on Harris' legs. Ever since we brought Ari home, she has been very interested in him and wants to be next to him like she is watching over him like a momma. So cute!
