The nursery is ready and it was made with lots of love....

We are definitely in "nesting" mode. We finished the baby's nursery last night and couldn't be more prouder. It is absolutely beautiful and truly the perfect baby's room. We cant wait to show it off to all of our house guests. We decided to go with the Winnie the Pooh theme and couldn't be happier with our choice. Harris and I are far from artists but this room is definitely creative! Now all we need to do is fill it with furniture and tons of baby stuff. Can't wait!!

Baby Showers are coming up

So it hit me that my baby shower in the Burgh is next weekend and the one in Maryland the weekend after that... I can't believe it! I will be officially 6 months next weekend and can't believe how fast time is flying by. I am really looking forward to to seeing everyone at the showers and celebrating the upcoming birth of our blessing... I know that my sisters and friends have put so much effort into these showers and I can't wait to see what they have in store for me. I feel so special and appreciate everything they are doing and will be doing. I cant wait to show my appreciation to them with a big old hug and a smooch on the cheek. LOL. Of course most of all, I am so excited to see all the baby stuff. I cant wait to go shopping for this little one!

It's a .....

BABY!!! I'm just kidding. We didnt find out but as many of you may have remembered June 1st was when we were supposed to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. Both Harris and I were very anxious for this appointment because we wanted to see our precious little baby and because I was taking the oh so dreaded glucose test to test for pregnancy diabetes. Glad to say I passed and do not have gestational diabetes... Thank God. But we did get to spend about 30 minutes looking at the baby and taking lots of pics. We got about 8 of them! We were so excited... Baby Vuadens was moving around and waving their little hand as if they were saying hi to Mommy and Daddy. It was awesome. He/She is growing at a very good rate and actually their growth rate was right on target for 21 weeks and 3 days. Except.... the head it was the size of a 21 weeks 4 days baby.... LOL Well I guess we cant avoid a baby with a big head since both Harris and I have pretty big heads and hard ones at that!
